Hey Reader, it's Nick here.
The response to last week’s newsletter was overwhelming — so we’re keeping the momentum going.
Here are 3 ideas to think about, 2 workouts to try and 1 question to consider...
3 Ideas From Me
I.
“Most people quit their plan before the benefits kick in. When it gets boring, keep going—the biggest gains are on the other side of boredom.”
II.
“It’s not what world-class athletes have that sets them apart. It’s what they lack: the ability to stop.”
III.
“To find balance, expand your time horizon. It’s okay to lose sleep and grind hard for a few months—now is not forever.”
2 Workouts To Try
I.
Threshold Micro-Intervals
25 x 400m @ threshold pace, 30s jog
Builds fatigue resistance and efficiency at threshold. Easier mentally, harder physically. Great for late base or race prep.
II.
Pre-Workout Activation Drills
4 x 30s fast strides + 4 x 30s bounding drills before your next interval session
Primes neuromuscular system for speed and power. Helps you hit quality splits without needing a long warm-up.
1 Question For You
What would the version of you 10 years from now say about the choices you're making today?
Until next week,
Nicklas
