Hey Runners, Ever feel like you’re doing everything right… yet your running still isn’t improving? Once I fixed it, I started hitting times I never thought I would see again. Today I'm gonna show you how to do it yourself. Let's do this. For a long time, I thought running progress was just about “work harder, run more.” But the truth is that to become a faster runner you have to sit on a 3-legged stool. And if one leg is missing… everything collapses. So let me show you what they are. 1️⃣ The Right Training Plan If you want to run a faster marathon, you can't follow a plan designed for a sprinter. And most people I see try to chase multiple goals at once. They both want to gain muscle, sprint faster AND run a sub-3 hour marathon. So they follow a plan that is designed a bit for everything. But that is the perfect way to get absolutely nowhere. Choose ONE big goal, go all in for a season with a training plan designed exactly for that. Then if you have multiple goals, switch it up for another season. Trust me, you'll get faster results, be more motivated AND reach more of your goals. Stay focused. 2️⃣ The Right Nutrition Plan I didn’t realize how much speed I was leaving on the table before I started paying attention to my nutrition and actually SEING the difference. When I ACTUALLY started to fuel properly (before, during, and after runs) it was like a weight had been lifted from my shoulders. Now whenever I don't pay attention to my diet, I can feel just how sluggish I become. And I never even noticed before. Try cleaning up your diet for just 2 weeks. Once you FEEL how much easier running becomes, you'll never want to go back. 3️⃣ Accountability This was the one I didn’t want to admit I needed. Even with the right training plan and better nutrition… I wasn’t consistent. I kept skipping workouts because "I got too busy" or "I was too tired" And my quality sessions suffered, because I knew no one was watching. So I did not push myself the way I needed to. But that all changed once I started training alongside other people again. We didn't even run together. We just kept each other accountable and wrote about how hard todays session was going to be. But it made all the difference. Once I had someone keeping me accountable and someone I could the everyday struggle with... My consistency went through the roof. And my speed followed shortly after. The truth is, it's SO much harder doing it on your own than doing it with others. To cite one of my favorite podcasters (Chris Williamson if you were wondering): "Find the others"
