Hey Runners,
What if you could get significantly faster by implementing a small fix to how you run?
That happened to me last year and I was able to increase my pace on flat roads by almost 10 seconds in a matter of weeks.
Today I want to show you exactly how to do the same.
So have you ever wondered why some runners look like their step pops when they run?
But when you go run, every step feels like you need to drag your feet
It's because your legs work like springs.
If your tendons are stiff and elastic like a hardened spring, they store and return energy easily.
If they’re softer like a worn out spring, they return energy poorly and you have to rely more on your muscles to keep the same pace.
To become a more "springy" runner and get that step to pop you can train your “springs” with a simple protocol.
So here is 4 steps to get your step to "pop":
- Start by doing 5x10 second ankle hop, 3 days per week.
- Then over the next 5 weeks build to 5x50 seconds
- Make the jumps small and snappy
- Watch what happens to your stride
See you on the road,
Nicklas
